PET ROCKS

Grandma's keep a stash of craft supplies around. Grandkids are always ready to do something fun with Grandma. Collect some different shape rocks and let them decorate their own pet rock. Use your imagination and have fun.

GUMBALL FLOWERS

This fabulousness is from RUFFEL. You could make these for any HOLIDAY theme or PARTY

What you’ll need (per flower):
1 plastic balloon stick (I ordered mine from Oriental Trading)
1 clear elastic band or ribbon to match
7 small gumballs
1 large gumball
1 cellophane cut into circle shape (check the gift wrap section of your dollar store for cellophane gift wrap)

  Because gumballs like to roll, assembled them upside down to their tutorial...

1. Place the cellophane circle in a small, shallow bowl. Nope, a plate won't work, gumballs roll.

2. Place the large gumball in the center of the cellophane circle, then surround the gumball with the smaller gumballs.

3. Set the balloon stick cup on top, then gather the cellophane around gumballs and secure at base of the balloon stick with your clear elastic band or ribbon.

Ta-da!

 This picture just took my breathe away. I worry about my little flower garden. I admire anyone who can take on acres of flowers for others to enjoy.

 

Does this cup cake not look so classy. I love it.

I love country. So simple, so beautiful, clean air, and a swing on the front porch, and of course the old mailbox.

I can smell the flowers as I walk down this path.

I need to sit in this pool and over look the ocean for my Anniversary.

It just rained,leaving some flowers floating in puddles along the narrow street.  Feel the dampness in the cool air? Where does it lead?

APPLE HEART

FUN IDEA for a school teacher.

Take a heart cookie cutter small enough to fit a large Red and Green apple.  Press the cutter into the Green Apple and take a knife and cut out the shape, just lifting the green peel only. Take the cutter and cut a heart out of the Red Apple. Take a butter knife sliding it under the heart just to remove the Red Peel in heart shape. Press it into the heart carved out of the Green Apple.  Looks very cute. The site I was on was in Spanish and so I did not understand the directions but I think you can figure it out. I explained..." How To" just by looking at the picture.If you have a better way, go for it. I think it is a cute idea
